We have many customers concerned about buying the correct size of skates for either themselves or their children.
What follows is our general advice, based on several years selling skates and related products and serving many thousands of happy and satisfied customers.
Not all size guides will be 100% accurate, as, simply peoples feet vary in size. So take this as general advice only.
Usually with most of the skates we sell we recommend you order 1 size higher than your normal shoe size.
When not to follow this rule of thumb:
- When buying slalom skates order your standard shoe size. Your skates will need to have a snugg fit so there is full support when conducting slalom skating activities.
- When ordering softer style skates like the Rio Roller - these skates tend to be a little softer in build and are more forgiving to get on and off the feet so your normal show size will usually be the best size for these type of skates.
We usually have sizing guides on every product page stating whether to order one size up or your normal shoe size - but if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
